SAIT Polytechnic's Gas Process Operations training program consists of technical knowledge and self-assessments about gas processing, plant equipment, and processes as well the knowledge of underlying concepts, basic background and plant safety.
Presented logically in four sequential levels:
- Operator Level A: Field Operations
- Operator Level B: Plant Equipment
- Operator Level C: Plant Processes
- Operator Level D: Auxiliary Equipment
Typically delivered in a self-directed learning format (distance/correspondence or online), this program is designed for field and plant operators as well as maintenance operators and is intended to supplement on-the-job training.
