Thermal Production Operations
SAIT Polytechnic’s new Thermal Production Operations program is a four-level program designed for field and plant operators as well as maintenance operators that provides technical knowledge and self-assessments to supplement on-the-job training.
The program covers topics in workplace safety, instrumentation, basic electricity, oil field operations, oil plant operations, water treatment and steam production. The program consists of 128 modules that are accessible in an online format for self-directed study. The successful completion of this program can provide the basis for further studies in Power Engineering.
