Whether it is small business, sales, customer service, health care, administration, or manufacturing, today's managers in every industry need to be equipped to deal effectively with these issues as they arise. This course goes beyond the basics of performance management to deal specifically with handling individual problem performance. Participants will learn how to effectively recognize, classify, document and manage sub-standard performance in both union and non-union environments. Learners will have the tools necessary to see the process through from the setting of clear expectations to the implementation of established consequences.
No prerequisite for this course.To obtain the Applied Management Certificate,courses completed must add up to a minimum of 144 hours.This course can be used as an elective for the Project Management Certificate.
