In this course, you will explore the foundations of training and the inter-connections with employee development and performance management. Measures of training effectiveness will be presented and you will leave with knowledge and skill in this area that will help you understand and determine the benefits and return on investment training has within organizations, with behavioral competencies at the core. Working with your training budget, and engaging your organization in training and development will be discussed. Utilize your organizational information to build meaningful training programs and understanding the pros and cons of e-learning, are additional topics that will be presented in this program that you can use to build your credibility as a training professional.
There is no prerequisite for this course. This course is one of three required courses for the Train-the-Trainer Certificate of Participation. This course can be used as an elective towards SAIT's Applied Management Certificate or Applied Project Management Certificate.
