A basic knowledge of Business Law is critical to the operation of any business in today's world. Whether you are a business owner, supervisor or manager it is essential to have an understanding of the legal issues facing business. This course will provide you with a basic overview and understanding of various legal issues such as forms of business organizations, liability and negligence, contract law, employment law, Human Rights law, credit and collections, the Sale of Goods and insurance, Health and Safety Law.
No prerequisite for this course. To obtain SAIT's Applied Management Certificate,courses completed must add up to a minimum of 144 hours.This course can be used as an elective for SAIT's Applied Project Management Certificate.
