Delivery Techniques for Trainers

The effectiveness of the trainer will have a significant impact on the overall success of the training program. Credibility of the trainer has significant impact on learning effectiveness, regardless of the quality of the course materials. Knowing how to deliver an effective training session will ensure that participants a supportive learning environment. Once training needs have been identified and the program is developed, the course is ready for delivery, and the appropriate trainer is then responsible to ensure they are prepared, the information is presented in a logical sequence with the adult learner in mind and that participants leave with the knowledge to apply new skills. This course will also explore the principles of accelerated learning, managing the training group dynamics and solicit meaningful feedback.

There is no prerequisite for this course. This course is one of three required courses for the Train-the-Trainer Certificate of Participation. This course can be used as an elective towards SAIT's Applied Management Certificate or Applied Project Management Certificate.
